HEY THERE! WE’RE SUSIE STEELE AND JILLIAN PHOENIX – WE’RE TEAM REVERIE.
We’re an aunt-niece duo (Susie is the aunt, Jillian is the niece) who had been planning events separately for years until we decided to come together and blend our considerable skills into one business. Reverie Events and Weddings was thus founded, and we’ve been creating stunning events and exceeding our clients’ expectations ever since.
JILLIAN PHOENIX
Hey, I’m Jillian! I’m the one who’s always posting on Reverie’s social media, thoughtfully crafting emails, updating and organizing our countless documents and spreadsheets, and more.
I received my bachelor’s degree in English Literature from St. Francis University and my master’s degree in Professional Writing & Editing from West Virginia University. I’ve been married to my handsome husband for 2 years.
In my free time I love going to local trivia nights with my husband, shopping online (Amazon Prime is my favorite thing in the world); watching makeup tutorials on YouTube; binging Real Housewives; exploring local festivals, farmers markets, and coffee shops; and reading for the book club I founded.
My loved ones would describe me as loving, passionate, creative, and stubborn (true lol).
SUSIE STEELE
Hi there, I’m Susie! I’m the one who’s always running around town finding fabric samples, picking up flower arrangements, hunting down the perfect glassware, and so much more.
I’ve been married to my wonderful husband Dan for 34 years. We have 3 incredible children together and two sons-in-law. Family is absolutely the main priority of my life – if I had nothing else in life, I’d be perfectly content as long as my family was happy, healthy, and together!
In my free time you can find me taking Pure Barre classes, hunting down great deals at TJMaxx or Marshalls (I can’t drive past one of them without stopping in!), meeting with one of the handful of book clubs I’m a member of (seriously, I’m in 6 different book clubs!), or walking one of Pittsburgh’s many beautiful nature trails with my husband and our wiener dogs.
If my loved ones had to choose a few words to describe me, they’d say I’m generous, thoughtful, energetic, and FUN!
